3. So far from what all I'm hearing about Xbox's new gaming console hasn't really said no more than, "Hey lets sell everyone a PC!!". Guess what, I already have a PC. I'll tell you this , my PC doesen't have a BLUE RAY DVD PLAYER nor does it have that new CELL PROCESSOR!! Do your homework and read more about the 2 new tech's. First off, blue ray CAN hold up to 50 GIGs. Can you say dual-layer? and one CELL CHIP is TEN TIMES FASTER THAN ANY LEADING CHIP OUT THERE. Well enough SAID...out

4. Isnt "Xbox 360" just the name they're using AT PRESENT?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they call it something completely different when it's ready to be unveiled and then hit the shelves.

And whoever came up with the name X2, sounds great to me. As for the 3 vs. 2 comment, I think that people who know anything at all about games and consoles should be able to see right through the "Xbox 2" vs. "PS3" issue. The suffixed number has nothing to do with the superiority of the system, when you think about it. It's just that the PS1 was in thousands of living rooms while, or even before, the Xbox was on the drawing board. (I think.. I am not sure as to when the original 'station was released)

13. How would I get in touch with the Xbox team developing the Xbox2, or some one to pitch an idea to. I have a nice feature in mind that would be an easy way to raise the bar keeping playstation in the background, and it would have a nice visual effect toward the consumer.

16. Now that we know for sure that XBox 360 is the name and we've seen it and it's capabilities, do you honestly think no one will buy it because it's name is "XBox 360"?

Xbox 360 is a perfectly good name. It's cutting-edge, no other console has ever used 3 numbers in it's name before, plus, it's catchy.


"Hey dude, want me to bring my 360 over?"

I'm personally looking forward to the final release of this console, this would be my first xbox, and Microsoft has finally made an impression on me. :)

Plus, it's fucking powerful.

xboxnext.com is registered to microsoft.
xbox360.com is registered to some defunct gaming company in britain.

there is no way ms would name it xbox360 and not have secured the domain name.

i'm guessing it will be XboxNext.

20. Or, the naming scheme could indicate the fact that console is round, because somebody told the folks at microsoft that the gamecube being cute and little and plastic toy-looking was why it appealed to families and kids - rather than their content.

Which would be a huge mistake. I want something that sits ontop of my VCR/DVD/HDTV Tuner and looks like just another component!
