Recently anounced titles include House of Flying Daggers and Final Fantasy VII, while previously announced titles include Apocolypse, Resident Evil, Once upon a time in Mexico and XXX. 4. $20-$30 sucks, and I believe that they will watch poor sales numbers register across the board for the UMD movies until they get it down to $10 per movie. People will not pay a premium price for a to-go version when the DVD version can both play on their home sets AND be ripped to a format that can then be placed off of a memory stick.
Bad price, bad idea.
5. Does any1 know whether the UMDs
are Region coded or not ???
